We choose Ritz Carlton Hong Kong hotel to celebrate our sixth anniversary there as it is the highest hotel in the world! It was newly opened in March 2011! We always prefer to stay in new hotels because the decoration is newer and also cleaner! We checked into a junior suite for two nights. The high up view was spectacular, the telescope near the corner of huge windows lightened up the decoration of the room! We enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi. It is the highest hotel in the world which made it more special! Club lounge also offers high up view of hong kong and serves nice food. The hot food offering was a bit limited though compared to many club lounges. We like the classy decoration of the restaurants, some are Chinese style but modern, grand but subtle, which are very nice! Staff are helpful, we enjoy our stay so much!

We found it a bit difficult to get to our room floor, because we have to switch to another lift, sometimes we get lost. But this is just a minor problem. The executive lounge serves snacks, light meals and drinks throughout the day and night, as well as a buffet breakfast. Herve Yen, the club manager, and his staff were attentive. The view from the 116 floor was excellent of course. What was interesting was that it gave a unique view of not just the Hong Kong skyline and the harbour stretching to the east but the confluence of rivers on either side of Kowloon, something that can normally only be seen by helicopter. The hotel should have made more of this as it is such a unique viewpoint. The meeting rooms that were provided for our use were nicely furnished. The only limitations were the furnishings. The tables near the windows needed to be larger and more substantial, similar to the excellent decoration at the hk Grand Hyatt, as it was a bit tricky for the service staff to try to put dishes on such a small table. In the end, some dishes were put on the side window shelf area. The seating in the middle areas of the lounge were comfortable sofas and large tables so it's a pity the window tables weren't more adequate and at a comfortable height for working and eating. The other aspect was the lack of plugs. Throughout the whole lounge there were no plugs for laptops so some people had to go back downstairs to their suite to recharge. There were plugs in the meeting rooms but they were not accessible as meetings were being held. I think coffee shops have more plugs. There were two standalone computers with a printer so at least that was helpful. Apart from these minor flaws, it was a very pleasant stay. The large indoor swimming pool area on the 118 Floor was very comfortable with large divan beds. What was interesting was the computer panelling on a side wall that continued onto the roof.

Absolutely everything. The service is outstanding - as is the view.

The Cantonese restaurant is not our favorite, but with access to the Club Lounge you'll never go hungry. And then there are all the great restaurants - and "hole in the walls" in Hong Kong.

My only regret is I only stay one night, as I feel my stay should have been at least a week to take in the whole experience. I would love come back and can't wait. I will always want to stay at the Ritz when I come back. Thank you

    Fabulous

The Ritz-Carlton saves his own brand again. Large spacious and comfortable room with fantastic view on the bay. Excellent food in the restaurant and the wide choice of the breakfast. Very nice spa in the last floor. My next visit in Hong Kong will be at this hotel.

    Superb

Outstanding hotel which offered every possible feature. We were upgarded to a suite on the 117th floor, which, as you would expect for the price, was absolute luxury. Hotel staff were extremly attentive and always made a point of welcoming you each time you returned to the hotel. Too expensive for frequent stays, but certainly worth it for a special occassion.

    Very good

The hotel was amazing, conveniently located away from the busy streets of Hong Kong but a close drive away.

I think the concierge could do a bit more to learn about the city. Most suggestions they offered for food or things to do were not the best of what the city had to offer.
